Avocado-chocolate pudding

In the spirit of full disclosure, I would call myself an avacadoholic.  My day seems almost empty without one.  While they’re typically a savory treat on my plate, I’m never one to shy away from a twist on the usual, especially when that so-called twist involves chocolate.  Count me in.

I introduce to you, the avocado-chocolate pudding

or chovocado pudding.

Let’s stick with the latter for cuteness.

This dessert may sound weird to some, but don’t knock till you try it.  There’s no hint of avocado flavor, only it’s densely creamy consistency.  Whipped together with a sweetener like agave and the rich chocolaty flavor from the cocoa powder, this pudding tastes like any chocolate pudding you’ve ever had…but probably better.

Let’s all forget about putting on our sweatpants with an elastic waistband this weekend and take a dip into a healthy chocolate pudding for a change.
