basil lemonade

March 22, 2012
Now that Spring has sprung, my mind is jumping to things I associate with the season.  Namely, lemons.  Lemon-flavored everything.  Spring also means cleaning my closet, which I just can't seem to get around to just yet.  It's almost beyond the point of no return and I'm sitting back waiting for some sort of magical inspiration.  Hasn't come yet.  But my seasonal lemon obsession is officially here in full force!

Take the jump over to see my Basil Lemonade recipe for my Perfect Bite series at CamilleStyles.com.

Love your writing style and photography.

Lemons are wonderful, and surprisingly alkaline and detoxifying. Fun recipe.

This is lovely.
There is something about lemons... Last night I had some leftover basil simple syrup that I combined with limoncello and seltzer. The lemon-basil combination just belongs together

So lovely. I made a lavender lemonade last year but basil is definitely on the list for this year.

Lemonade is not something I usually drink. But add herbs, flowers, or muddled fruit, and you got me. [hint, hint]

I've never made lemonade before but your photos of it make it look so appealing I'm going to have to give it a go!
