quack! quack!

I'm in Texas keeping my sweet niece for the week and have had so much fun with her.  She's almost two and is quite the mobile monster and daredevil!

For our morning snack, Sophie had some egg chicks.

These little chicks are adorable, albeit not quite as cute as my love muffin.

I hard-boiled some eggs and used carrots cut into triangles for the beak.  I used peppercorns for the eyes, but I would have used black sesame seeds had they been in the kitchen.
